Jaime Rall, MSW ’06

Oxford graduate Jaime Rall (MSW ’06), MA (Oxon.), says her commitment to social and political activism grew out of her Christian faith. Her aunt is a nun who works with the poor and homeless, her uncle supports the indigenous movement in Mexico through his work for Catholic Charities, and, before his death in 2010, her father spent his last years working with people with developmental disabilities. From them, Rall says she learned “that Christians have a commitment to working for social justice in this world as well as preparing for the next.” After serving as program director for a statewide environmental justice organization, teaching as an adjunct and doing consulting work for several Denver-area nonprofits, Rall joined the Transportation Program at the National Conference of State Legislatures in 2009, where her research and publications inform public policy development nationwide.
