With more than 25 years of experience in human services program development and management, Linda Mitchell (MSW ’78) serves as President and CEO of the Alzheimer’s Association Colorado Chapter, the premier source of information and support for the more than 72,000 Coloradoans with Alzheimer’s disease, their families and caregivers. Responsible for the overall management of the organization, Mitchell provides leadership to staff in program, development and operations, and she works closely with the Board of Directors. She also provides staff support to the executive and nominating committees and to the public policy advisory board. The primary spokesperson for the Colorado Chapter, Mitchell also serves on leadership committees for the National Alzheimer’s Association. Prior to joining the Alzheimer’s Association, she served as Program Director for Big Sisters of Colorado.
